Prepare a flavorful and quick weeknight dinner using this sheet pan recipe featuring salmon glazed with honey and harissa paste, roasted alongside broccoli.

- 1.5 lb salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons harissa paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, harissa paste, minced garlic, and lemon juice to create the glaze.
- Place the broccoli florets on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss to coat.
- Place the salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet. Brush half of the honey harissa glaze evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
- Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven. Roast for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove the pan from the oven. Brush the remaining glaze over the salmon. Gently toss the broccoli.
- Return the pan to the oven and roast for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Remove from the oven. Garnish the salmon with fresh lemon slices before serving.
Notes
- For crispier broccoli, you can toss it with the glaze for the last 5 minutes of cooking, but watch carefully to prevent burning.
- If your salmon fillets are very thick (over 1.5 inches), you may need to add 2-3 extra minutes to the total cooking time.
- Use mild or hot harissa paste depending on your spice preference.
