Description

An easy and fun snack for kids using peanut butter and bananas, shaped like sushi rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (or other nut/seed butter)
  • Optional toppings: shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, chopped nuts, granola

Instructions

  1. Peel the banana.
  2. Spread the peanut butter evenly all over the banana.
  3. If using toppings, sprinkle them over the peanut butter, gently pressing them in slightly.
  4. Slice the banana into 1/2-inch thick “sushi” pieces.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • This is a great way to get kids involved in the kitchen. Let them spread the peanut butter and add the toppings!
  • My son Leo loves his with mini chocolate chips, while Mia prefers shredded coconut.
  • You can make these ahead of time, but they are best enjoyed fresh.
