- 2 cups cold milk

- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Crush all the Oreo cookies until they resemble fine crumbs. Set aside about 1 cup of the crumbs for topping.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about two minutes until the mixture thickens. Let it stand for five minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until fully combined.
- Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
- Fold the majority of the crushed Oreos (reserving the topping amount) into the pudding mixture.
- In a large trifle dish or 9×13 inch pan, begin layering the dessert. Spread half of the Oreo-pudding mixture on the bottom.
- Spread the entire cream cheese mixture evenly over the first layer.
- Top the cream cheese layer with the remaining Oreo-pudding mixture.
- Sprinkle the reserved 1 cup of crushed Oreo crumbs evenly over the top layer to resemble dirt.
- Chill the dirt cake in the refrigerator for at least four hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.
