Description

These Kid-Friendly Spider-Web Oreo Pops are a fun and easy Halloween treat. They are perfect for kids to help make and enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 ounce) package Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound white candy melts or white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning)
  • Black gel icing or black candy melt for spider webs
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Foam block or tall glass for drying

Instructions

  1. Twist apart Oreo cookies and scrape out the cream filling into a bowl. Place the cookie wafers in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the bowl with the cream filling and mix until smooth. Add the crushed Oreos to the cream cheese mixture and mix well until combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1.5-inch balls. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball.
  4. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes, until firm.
  5. Melt the white candy melts or white chocolate chips according to package directions. If needed, stir in coconut oil to thin for easier dipping.
  6. Dip each Oreo pop into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Gently tap off excess chocolate.
  7. Place the dipped pops upright in a foam block or tall glass to dry.
  8. Before the white chocolate fully sets, use black gel icing or melted black candy melt to draw concentric circles on top of each pop.
  9. While the circles are still wet, use a toothpick to drag lines from the center outwards, creating a spider web design.
  10. Let the pops set completely at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
  • Chilling the Oreo balls is important to prevent them from falling apart during dipping.
  • Work quickly when drawing the spider webs before the white chocolate sets.
