- 1 sheet refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup finely diced pepperoni
- Optional: pinch of dried oregano or garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough or pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. If using crescent dough, press seams together to form a rectangle.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and diced pepperoni over the sauce. Add optional seasonings if desired.
- Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log.
- Gently slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
