These Kid-Friendly Peanut Butter Fudge Bars are a simple, no-bake treat perfect for busy parents. They’re quick to make and a guaranteed hit with kids, even picky eaters.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- If using, sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Gently press them into the fudge.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
- Once firm, use the parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into squares.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a slightly healthier twist, you can use natural peanut butter, but you might need to adjust the powdered sugar slightly if it’s less sweet.
- Leo loves these with mini chocolate chips, while Mia prefers them plain. Customize to your kids’ liking!
- These are great for lunchboxes or after-school snacks.
