Description

Easy and fun pinwheels perfect for little hands and picky eaters, made with peanut butter and banana.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 whole wheat tortillas (standard size)
  • 4 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
  • 1 medium ripe banana

Instructions

  1. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  2. Spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly over each tortilla, going almost to the edges.
  3. Peel the banana and place it towards one edge of one tortilla.
  4. Gently roll the tortilla tightly around the banana.
  5. Repeat with the second tortilla, if using.
  6. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the rolled tortillas into 1-inch pinwheels.
  7. Serve immediately or pack for a snack.

Notes

  • You can use any nut butter you prefer if there are no nut allergies.
  • Add a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
