Description

Turn hot dogs into fun mummy wraps! Perfect for Halloween or any time you want a spooky treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Mustard or ketchup, for decorating (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough. Don’t separate the triangles. Pinch the seams together to form a rectangle.
  3. Cut the dough lengthwise into 8 strips.
  4. Wrap each hot dog with a strip of dough, leaving a small opening for the ‘face’.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the hot dogs are heated through.
  7. Let cool slightly. Use mustard or ketchup to make eyes for the mummies, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use cocktail sausages instead of hot dogs for mini mummies. Adjust baking time accordingly.
  • Get the kids involved in wrapping the hot dogs! It’s a fun activity.
