Description
Turn hot dogs into fun mummy wraps! Perfect for Halloween or any time you want a spooky treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 hot dogs
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Mustard or ketchup, for decorating (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough. Don’t separate the triangles. Pinch the seams together to form a rectangle.
- Cut the dough lengthwise into 8 strips.
- Wrap each hot dog with a strip of dough, leaving a small opening for the ‘face’.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the hot dogs are heated through.
- Let cool slightly. Use mustard or ketchup to make eyes for the mummies, if desired.
Notes
- You can use cocktail sausages instead of hot dogs for mini mummies. Adjust baking time accordingly.
- Get the kids involved in wrapping the hot dogs! It’s a fun activity.
