Easy and delicious mini meatball sandwiches perfect for picky eaters.

- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 12 slider buns or small dinner rolls
- Provolone or mozzarella cheese slices, cut into quarters
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, gently combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
- Add the cooked meatballs to the marinara sauce and stir to coat. Keep warm.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place a few meatballs and a little sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with a piece of cheese and the top half of the bun.
- You can serve them as is, or place the assembled sandwiches back on the baking sheet and bake for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

- You can make the meatballs ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator or freezer.
