Description

Easy mini bell pepper pizzas perfect for kids. A fun and healthy way to get them involved in the kitchen.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 bell peppers (any color!)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional toppings: mini pepperoni, cooked crumbled sausage, chopped vegetables (mushrooms, onions, olives – finely diced for little ones!)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and dry the bell peppers. Cut them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. Place the bell pepper halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  4. Spoon a little pizza sauce into each bell pepper half.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Add any desired toppings.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the peppers are tender-crisp and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can make these ahead of time and bake when ready.
  • Get the kids involved in adding the sauce, cheese, and toppings!
