Description

Enjoy bite-sized pancake treats. These are easy for kids to eat. They feature crispy bacon and sweet maple flavor.


Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour
  • Granulated sugar
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Melted butter
  • Cooked bacon
  • Maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and melted butter.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in crumbled cooked bacon pieces.
  6. Spoon batter into prepared mini muffin cups. Fill each cup about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Bites are done when golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly in the tin.
  9. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
