Ingredients
- All-purpose flour
- Granulated sugar
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Egg
- Milk
- Melted butter
- Cooked bacon
- Maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Gently fold in crumbled cooked bacon pieces.
- Spoon batter into prepared mini muffin cups. Fill each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes. Bites are done when golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly in the tin.
- Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
