Ingredients

  • 1 bag (10-12 ounces) tortilla chips
  • 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped black olives (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt for serving (optional)
  • Guacamole for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together refried beans and salsa until well combined.
  4. Spoon bean mixture evenly over the chips.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the bean mixture.
  6. If using, scatter black olives and green onions over the cheese.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
