- 1 bag (10-12 ounces) tortilla chips
- 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt for serving (optional)
- Guacamole for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, stir together refried beans and salsa until well combined.
- Spoon bean mixture evenly over the chips.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the bean mixture.
- If using, scatter black olives and green onions over the cheese.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve with sour cream or Greek yogurt and guacamole, if desired.
Notes
- For picky eaters, start with just beans and cheese. You can add other toppings as they get more adventurous.
