Ingredients
- Short pasta shape (like rotini or penne)
- Fresh cherry or grape tomatoes
- Optional additions like mozzarella balls, cucumber, or bell peppers
- Simple dressing (like olive oil and a touch of vinegar or lemon juice)
- Salt and pepper to taste (use sparingly for kids)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
- While pasta cooks, halve or quarter cherry tomatoes. Chop any other desired vegetables or cheese.
- Drain pasta well. Rinse with cold water to cool quickly.
- Combine cooled pasta, tomatoes, and other ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add dressing and toss gently to coat.
- Serve immediately or chill before serving.
