- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- Optional: 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, salt, and nuts or seeds (if using).
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the granola mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
- Let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet. It will crisp up as it cools.
- Once cool, stir in the dried cranberries.
- Store in an airtight container.

- Granola stays fresh for up to 2 weeks when stored properly.
- Serve with milk, yogurt, or enjoy as a dry snack.
