Description

A simple and delicious chocolate banana protein shake that kids will love. Perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop kid-friendly protein powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Ice (optional, for thicker shake)

Instructions

  1. Combine frozen banana, milk, cocoa powder, and protein powder (if using) in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired for sweetness.
  4. Add ice if you prefer a thicker consistency and blend again.
  5. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Using a frozen banana makes the shake cold and thick without needing ice.
  • Adjust the amount of cocoa powder to your child’s preference.
  • You can add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients – they won’t even taste it!
