Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices soft bread (like white or wheat)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the crusts off the bread slices.
  2. Spread a thin layer of softened cream cheese on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place cucumber slices evenly over the cream cheese on half of the bread slices. Add a pinch of salt if using.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down.
  5. Press gently to form sandwiches.
  6. Cut each sandwich into desired shapes using a knife or cookie cutters (squares, triangles, or fun shapes).
  7. Chill the sandwich bites in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use cookie cutters to make fun shapes for picky eaters.
  • Try different types of soft bread your child prefers.
  • Ensure cream cheese is soft for easy spreading.
