Description

This recipe offers Kid-Friendly Chicken Alfredo Flatbreads, a quick and easy meal perfect for busy parents. It features simple ingredients and aims to please even picky eaters.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough or pre-made flatbreads
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If using pizza dough, unroll it onto a baking sheet and shape it into two flatbreads. If using pre-made flatbreads, place them on a baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the shredded chicken and Alfredo sauce. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Spread the chicken and Alfredo mixture evenly over each flatbread.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the chicken mixture. If desired, sprinkle with garlic powder.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Carefully remove the flatbreads from the oven. Let them cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, if using. Serve warm and watch your kids enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra veggies, finely chop spinach or broccoli and mix it into the Alfredo sauce before spreading.
  • If your kids prefer a crispier crust, bake the flatbreads for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Customize toppings with other kid-friendly ingredients like corn, peas, or bell peppers.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
