Description

Make easy turkey and cheese roll-ups with hidden veggies. These are perfect for a quick snack or lunchbox.


Ingredients

  • 6 small whole wheat tortillas or gluten-free wraps
  • 6 slices deli turkey
  • 6 slices cheddar or provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spinach
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened (optional, for binding)

Instructions

  1. Lay a tortilla flat.
  2. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese if using.
  3. Layer one slice of turkey and one slice of cheese on the tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle a little grated carrot and chopped spinach over the cheese.
  5. Roll the tortilla up tightly from one edge.
  6. Slice the roll-up into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
