Simple and fun Caprese snack skewers, perfect for kids. These skewers combine fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil, making a colorful and healthy snack that’s easy to assemble.


Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine size)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for drizzling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)
  • 1215 small skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Gently wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
  2. If your mozzarella balls are too large for one bite, you can cut them in half.
  3. Carefully thread one cherry tomato onto a skewer, followed by a basil leaf, then a mozzarella ball. Repeat the pattern if your skewers are long enough, ending with a tomato.
  4. Arrange the finished skewers on a platter.
  5. If desired, lightly drizzle with olive oil and a touch of balsamic glaze just before serving.
