Description

These Kid-Friendly Bento Box Turkey Roll-Ups are a quick and easy meal perfect for busy parents. They are simple to prepare and a great way to get picky eaters to enjoy their lunch.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices (about 46 ounces) deli turkey breast
  • 34 tablespoons cream cheese or hummus
  • 6 small whole wheat tortillas or flatbreads
  • Optional: thinly sliced cucumber, shredded carrots, or spinach leaves

Instructions

  1. Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  2. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese or hummus evenly over each tortilla.
  3. Place one slice of deli turkey on top of the cream cheese/hummus.
  4. If using, add a sprinkle of shredded carrots, a few spinach leaves, or a few slices of cucumber over the turkey.
  5. Starting from one end, tightly roll up each tortilla.
  6. Using a sharp knife, slice each roll-up into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  7. Arrange the pinwheels in your child’s bento box along with their favorite fruits, veggies, and a small treat.
