Description

These kid-friendly banana peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are quick, easy, and a guaranteed hit with even the pickiest eaters. They’re a perfect way to use up ripe bananas and make a delicious, fun treat for the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (mini chips work great for little hands)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mashed banana and peanut butter. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. These cookies don’t spread much, so you can place them relatively close together.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a slightly different texture, you can add a pinch of cinnamon.
  • If your peanut butter is very thick, you might need to warm it slightly to make it easier to mix.
  • These cookies are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free if using dairy-free chocolate chips.
