Description
These Kid-Friendly Avocado Banana Fruit Pops are a simple, nutritious, and fun treat perfect for toddlers and elementary school-aged children. They combine creamy avocado and sweet banana into a delightful frozen pop, making them an excellent way to sneak in healthy fats and fruits.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- Popsicle molds and sticks
Instructions
- Combine the peeled avocado, bananas, milk, and optional sweetener in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no lumps.
- Pour the mixture into your popsicle molds. If using molds without built-in sticks, insert the popsicle sticks now.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
- To remove, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds if needed, then gently pull out the pops.
Notes
- For a different flavor, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder for chocolate avocado banana pops.
- You can also add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients; the green color will be hidden by the avocado.
- These pops are great for teething babies when made without added sweetener.
- Store leftover pops in an airtight container in the freezer.
