- 1 cup assorted kid-friendly fruits (like grapes, strawberries, blueberries, melon chunks)
- 12–15 small wooden skewers
- 1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and dry all the fruit.
- Core the apples and cut them into bite-sized chunks.
- Carefully thread the apple chunks and other fruits onto the wooden skewers, alternating colors and textures.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract (if using) until smooth.
- Arrange the fruit skewers on a platter.
- Serve the yogurt dip alongside the skewers for dipping.
Notes
- For younger children, snap the skewers in half or use blunt-tipped plastic skewers for safety.
- Customize the fruit based on what your kids like and what’s in season.
- Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a squeeze of lemon juice to the apples to prevent browning.
- This is a great recipe to get kids involved in making!
