Description

Make simple, low-carb bacon wrapped asparagus bundles baked until crisp. This recipe is perfect as a keto side dish or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, tough ends trimmed
  • 8 slices thin-cut bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the trimmed asparagus spears with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Divide the asparagus into 4 equal bundles.
  4. Wrap each bundle tightly with 2 slices of bacon, securing the ends.
  5. Place the bundles on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, turning halfway through, until the bacon is crisp and the asparagus is tender.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes
