Description

Make a cold, creamy protein shake featuring vanilla and strawberry flavors. This recipe is quick to prepare and suitable for a post-workout recovery drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for thickness)

Instructions

  1. Place the almond milk, vanilla protein powder, frozen strawberries, vanilla extract, and ice cubes into a high-speed blender.
  2. Add chia seeds if you are using them.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. Pour the shake immediately into a glass.
  5. Serve cold.

Notes

  • For a thicker shake, use less liquid or add 1/4 cup of frozen banana slices.
  • If you prefer a lower sugar option, use unsweetened protein powder and check the sugar content of your strawberries.
  • You can substitute dairy milk for almond milk if you do not require a dairy-free option.
