Description
Make a refreshing, fizzy Iced Pineapple Matcha Spritz combining tropical pineapple flavor with bright green tea.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 teaspoon ceremonial grade matcha powder
- 2 tablespoons hot water (175°F / 80°C)
- 2 ounces pineapple juice (100% juice)
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 4 ounces chilled sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Optional garnish: pineapple wedge or mint sprig
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with the hot water until completely smooth and frothy, ensuring no clumps remain. Set aside.
- In a tall glass, combine the pineapple juice and simple syrup. Stir briefly.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Gently pour the prepared matcha mixture over the ice.
- Top the glass slowly with the chilled sparkling water.
- Stir the drink gently from the bottom once or twice to combine the layers without losing too much carbonation.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge or mint sprig before serving immediately.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, substitute 2 ounces of the sparkling water with unsweetened coconut milk or oat milk.
- If you prefer a sweeter drink, increase the simple syrup to 3/4 ounce.
- Use cold filtered water for the best flavor when mixing the matcha base.
