Description

Make this simple, refreshing smoothie that tastes like a classic orange creamsicle. It uses frozen ingredients for a thick, icy texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen orange segments
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 4 ice cubes (optional, for extra thickness)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen orange segments, vanilla Greek yogurt, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener (if using) into a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes if you desire a thicker consistency.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass immediately.
  5. Serve cold.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, substitute the Greek yogurt with frozen banana slices or coconut cream.
  • If you do not have frozen orange segments, use fresh segments and add 1 cup of ice.
  • Adjust the sweetener based on the tartness of your oranges.
