Description

Make a café-quality Iced Honey Vanilla Latte at home using a simple homemade honey vanilla syrup and creamy oat milk.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 oz) or 4 oz strong cold brew concentrate
  • 1/2 cup oat milk (full fat recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons honey vanilla syrup (recipe below)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • For Honey Vanilla Syrup:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the honey vanilla syrup: Combine honey and water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the honey dissolves completely into the water. Do not boil. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let the syrup cool completely.
  2. Brew the coffee: Pull two shots of espresso or measure 4 ounces of strong cold brew concentrate. Allow the coffee to cool slightly if using espresso.
  3. Assemble the drink: In a tall glass, combine the cooled honey vanilla syrup and the oat milk. Stir briefly to mix.
  4. Add ice: Fill the glass almost to the top with ice cubes.
  5. Pour coffee: Slowly pour the cooled espresso or cold brew over the ice and milk mixture.
  6. Serve: Stir gently until the ingredients are combined. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a stronger vanilla flavor, use 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste instead of extract in the syrup.
  • If you prefer a less sweet drink, start with 1 tablespoon of syrup and adjust to your taste.
  • For a colder drink, chill your oat milk before mixing.
