- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Carefully stir in the hot coffee until the batter is smooth. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the milk chocolate chips.
- Fill each muffin liner about two-thirds full with brownie batter.
- Place about one teaspoon of marshmallow creme into the center of the batter in each cup. Gently push it down slightly.
- Top with a small spoonful of remaining batter, covering the marshmallow almost completely.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out with moist crumbs attached.
- Let the brownie cups cool completely in the tin before serving. Enjoy the surprise center!
