Description

Make this creamy, tangy horseradish sauce in under five minutes. It delivers that bold, classic steakhouse flavor perfect for your prime rib or roast beef.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup prepared horseradish, drained
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Chill a medium bowl and whisk attachment for your mixer.
  2. In the chilled bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, drained horseradish, white vinegar, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Whip the mixture using an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form. This should take about 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Gently fold in the salt and pepper.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately or chill until ready to use.

Notes

  • Drain the prepared horseradish well; excess liquid makes the sauce thin.
  • For a thinner sauce, use less cream or add a splash of milk.
  • You can make this sauce up to one day ahead. Store it covered in the refrigerator.
  • This sauce is great on roast beef, steak, or as a sandwich spread.
