Description
Make these simple, no-bake Grinch Oreo Balls for a fun, festive Christmas dessert. They use few ingredients and are perfect for holiday parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz green candy coating wafers
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning coating)
- Small red heart sprinkles or candy melts for decoration
Instructions
- Place the finely crushed Oreos into a medium bowl.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the crushed cookies. Mix well with a spatula or clean hands until a uniform dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.
- Melt the green candy coating wafers according to package directions, stirring in coconut oil if needed for a smoother consistency.
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted green coating, ensuring it is fully covered. Tap off any excess coating.
- Place the coated balls back onto the parchment-lined sheet.
- Before the coating sets, immediately press one red heart sprinkle onto the top center of each ball to resemble the Grinch’s heart.
- Allow the candy coating to set completely at room temperature or chill briefly until firm.
Notes
- If you prefer a slightly different flavor, you can substitute regular Oreos with Mint Oreos.
- For easy dipping, use a toothpick inserted into the bottom of the ball, then remove the toothpick and smooth the hole with a dab of melted green coating.
- Store finished Grinch Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
