- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, and minced garlic.
- Pour the cream mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the chicken and sauce.
- If using, mix the breadcrumbs with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle over the cheese layer.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

- For a low carb chicken bake, skip adding the breadcrumbs.
