Description
Frozen Yogurt Breakfast Bark is a cool and healthy summer breakfast treat for kids, made with yogurt, granola, and fruit.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granola
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), chopped if large
- Other toppings: mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, other fruits
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Sprinkle the granola, berries, and any other desired toppings evenly over the yogurt.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt is completely frozen and solid.
- Once frozen, break the bark into pieces of various sizes.
- Store the frozen yogurt bark in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
- Greek yogurt works best for a thicker bark, but you can use regular yogurt. The freezing time may vary.
- Customize the toppings based on your child’s preferences.
- This bark can be a bit messy as it thaws, so it’s best enjoyed right from the freezer.
