Description

Beat the heat with these simple and healthy homemade watermelon pops. They are a refreshing and kid-friendly summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon into cubes, removing any seeds.
  2. Place the watermelon cubes and optional lime juice into a blender.
  3. Blend until completely smooth and no chunks remain.
  4. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top as the mixture will expand slightly when frozen.
  5. Insert popsicle sticks into the molds.
  6. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
  7. To remove the popsicles, run the mold under warm water for a few seconds.
  8. Enjoy your frozen watermelon pops!

Notes

  • Make sure your watermelon is ripe for the sweetest results.
  • If you don’t have popsicle molds, you can use small paper cups and wooden craft sticks.
  • For a fun twist, add a few blueberries or small pieces of other fruit to the molds before freezing.
  • These pops are a great way to use up leftover watermelon.
