Description

Easy and safe-to-eat cookie dough bites for kids. No eggs means you can enjoy this sweet treat without worry.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk (any kind)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (or regular chocolate chips, chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. The dough is ready to eat as is, or you can roll it into small balls if desired.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • Make sure your butter is truly softened but not melted. This helps with the texture.
  • You can use any type of milk you have on hand.
  • Mini chocolate chips are great for little mouths, but regular ones work too.
  • Feel free to add other mix-ins like sprinkles or chopped nuts (if no allergies).
  • This dough is safe to eat raw because there are no eggs and the flour is not consumed raw in large quantities.
