Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider rolls or small dinner rolls
  • 1 ½ cups cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped
  • ½ cup marinara sauce (kid-friendly variety)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked chicken and marinara sauce.
  4. Spread the chicken and sauce mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  8. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the slider rolls.
  9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered tops.
  10. Place the sliders in a baking dish.
  11. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
  12. Let cool slightly before serving.
