Description

Easy and fun dirt pudding cups with gummy worms, a classic treat for kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 (15 ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
  • Gummy worms

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping gently.
  3. In small cups or jars, layer the crushed chocolate cookies and pudding mixture, starting and ending with the cookies.
  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Before serving, add gummy worms to the top of each cup to resemble worms in dirt.

Notes

  • You can use any flavor of instant pudding mix.
  • For a dairy-free version, use non-dairy milk and whipped topping.
  • Get creative with toppings! Add candy rocks or other creepy crawlies.
