Description
Create simple, warm Crescent Brie Bites with a sweet and tart cranberry topping. This easy holiday appetizer is perfect for sharing moments and adding joy to your gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Place one cube of Brie cheese on the wider end of each triangle.
- Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Place the rolled bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and orange zest. This is your flavorful topping.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
- Remove the bites from the oven. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of the cranberry mixture over the top of each warm bite.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the connection.
Notes
- You can prepare the cranberry topping ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator.
- For an extra touch of sparkle, you can sprinkle a tiny pinch of coarse sugar over the cranberry topping before serving.
- If you do not have Brie, a firm, mild cheese works as a substitute.
- These are best served fresh from the oven.
