Description

Make a Cranberry Ginger Fizz, a bright and festive mocktail perfect for any celebration. This drink combines tart cranberry with spicy ginger for a refreshing, spirited flavor experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cranberry juice (unsweetened preferred)
  • 4 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Cranberries for garnish
  • Lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the cranberry juice, lime juice, grated ginger, and maple syrup in a small bowl. Stir well.
  2. Taste the mixture. Add more maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter drink.
  3. Strain the juice mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the ginger pulp. Press on the solids to extract all the liquid.
  4. Chill the cranberry-ginger base in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice.
  6. Pour the chilled cranberry-ginger base into each glass, filling about one-third full.
  7. Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently.
  8. Garnish each Cranberry Ginger Fizz with fresh cranberries and a lime slice. Serve right away.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of ginger flavor, you can use ginger ale instead of plain sparkling water, but reduce the added maple syrup.
  • You can prepare the cranberry-ginger base up to 24 hours ahead of time.
