Description

Make a homemade version of the popular Panera Green Goddess Dressing that tastes just like the original. This recipe is quick, fresh, and herb-forward.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the mayonnaise, water, parsley, chives, tarragon, basil, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend the ingredients until the dressing is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste the dressing. Add more salt or lemon juice if you desire more tang.
  4. If the dressing is too thick, add water, one teaspoon at a time, blending after each addition until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Transfer the dressing to an airtight container. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute the mayonnaise with a vegan mayonnaise alternative.
  • This dressing is best used within one week when stored in the refrigerator.
  • Use this dressing on salads, as a dip for vegetables, or spread on sandwiches and wraps.
