Description
Make a homemade version of the popular Panera Green Goddess Dressing that tastes just like the original. This recipe is quick, fresh, and herb-forward.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh chives
- 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the mayonnaise, water, parsley, chives, tarragon, basil, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into a blender or food processor.
- Blend the ingredients until the dressing is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
- Taste the dressing. Add more salt or lemon juice if you desire more tang.
- If the dressing is too thick, add water, one teaspoon at a time, blending after each addition until you reach your desired consistency.
- Transfer the dressing to an airtight container. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute the mayonnaise with a vegan mayonnaise alternative.
- This dressing is best used within one week when stored in the refrigerator.
- Use this dressing on salads, as a dip for vegetables, or spread on sandwiches and wraps.
