- For the Swirl:
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a small bowl, combine the mashed bananas and buttermilk.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the banana-buttermilk mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Prepare the swirl: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the melted butter over the batter, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Pour the remaining batter over the top. Drizzle with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cinnamon sugar into the batter.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
