Description

A simple, festive punch recipe perfect for serving large groups at celebrations, holidays, or brunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or Prosecco
  • 1 (64 oz) bottle chilled cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 cup orange juice, chilled
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur (optional)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • Ice ring or ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Chill all liquid ingredients thoroughly before mixing.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine the cranberry juice, orange juice, and orange liqueur, if using. Stir gently to mix.
  3. Just before serving, slowly pour in the chilled Champagne or Prosecco. Stir very slowly once or twice to combine without losing too much carbonation.
  4. Add the orange slices and cranberries to the punch bowl.
  5. Add a large ice ring or ice cubes to keep the punch cold. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Prepare the juice mixture ahead of time and keep it refrigerated. Add the sparkling wine right before guests arrive.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute sparkling white grape juice for the Champagne.
  • Use frozen cranberries as part of the ice to help keep the punch cold without diluting it quickly.
