Description

Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are a flavorful vegetarian snack. These crispy cauliflower florets are coated in a tangy and spicy buffalo sauce, perfect for game day or any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing, for dipping (optional)
  • Celery sticks, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Gradually whisk in the water until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and toss to coat them evenly.
  5. Place the coated cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and lightly golden.
  7. While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  8. Once the cauliflower is baked, carefully transfer the florets to a clean bowl.
  9. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
  10. Return the sauced cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is slightly caramelized.
  11. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy bites, you can air fry the cauliflower at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the batter for an extra kick.
