Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing, for dipping (optional)
- Celery sticks, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Gradually whisk in the water until you have a smooth batter.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and toss to coat them evenly.
- Place the coated cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and lightly golden.
- While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Once the cauliflower is baked, carefully transfer the florets to a clean bowl.
- Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
- Return the sauced cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is slightly caramelized.
- Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks, if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispy bites, you can air fry the cauliflower at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
- Feel free to add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the batter for an extra kick.
