Description
Make incredibly crispy, flaky salmon fillets in your air fryer in under 15 minutes. This easy garlic butter recipe delivers juicy results perfect for a healthy, quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry using paper towels. This step is key for getting that crispy exterior.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top (flesh side) of each salmon fillet.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
- Air fry for 10 to 13 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For extra crispiness, you can brush with a little olive oil before cooking.
- Remove carefully from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- For the best crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
- If your fillets are very thick (over 1.5 inches), you may need to reduce the temperature slightly to 380°F (195°C) and cook for 14-16 minutes to prevent the outside from burning before the center cooks.
- This is a fantastic low carb salmon air fryer option.
