Description

Make perfectly crispy potato cubes seasoned with garlic and Parmesan cheese using your air fryer. This recipe delivers maximum flavor and crunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the potato cubes in a bowl and toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano until evenly coated.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  3. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary to maintain crispiness.
  4. Air fry for 15 minutes. Shake the basket well.
  5. Continue to air fry for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and minced garlic.
  7. Immediately transfer the hot, crispy potatoes to a clean bowl. Sprinkle the Parmesan-garlic mixture over the hot potatoes and toss quickly to coat.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then dry them completely before seasoning.
  • Do not skip the preheating step; a hot basket helps start the crisping process immediately.
  • Toss with the cheese mixture immediately after cooking while the potatoes are still very hot so the cheese melts slightly and adheres well.
