Description
Make perfectly crispy garlic breadsticks quickly using your air fryer. This recipe delivers a strong garlic flavor and a satisfying crunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Remove the pizza dough from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- While the dough rests, prepare the garlic butter: combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, and salt in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface. Cut the dough lengthwise into 12 even strips.
- Twist each strip two or three times to form a breadstick shape.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly brush the tops of the breadsticks with half of the prepared garlic butter mixture.
- Place the breadsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and crisp.
- Remove the cooked breadsticks and immediately brush them with the remaining garlic butter.
- Sprinkle evenly with the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve warm immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the breadsticks with cooking spray before the final minute of cooking.
- If you prefer a softer breadstick, reduce the air fryer temperature to 330°F (165°C) and cook for 8 minutes.
- You can substitute store-bought breadstick dough for the pizza dough.
