Description

Make crispy, soft churro bites quickly in your air fryer using refrigerated dough, coated in a simple cinnamon sugar mix.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Cut each triangle into three smaller pieces.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together for the coating.
  4. Brush the dough pieces lightly with melted butter.
  5. Place the buttered dough pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Do not overcrowd the basket.
  6. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bites are golden brown and puffed.
  7. Immediately transfer the hot churro bites to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Toss gently until fully coated.
  8. Serve the churro bites warm.

Notes

  • If you do not have crescent rolls, you can use refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters.
  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the dough with cooking spray before tossing in the butter.
  • Adjust the cinnamon to sugar ratio to your preference.
