Description
Make crispy, soft churro bites quickly in your air fryer using refrigerated dough, coated in a simple cinnamon sugar mix.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Cut each triangle into three smaller pieces.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together for the coating.
- Brush the dough pieces lightly with melted butter.
- Place the buttered dough pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Do not overcrowd the basket.
- Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bites are golden brown and puffed.
- Immediately transfer the hot churro bites to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Toss gently until fully coated.
- Serve the churro bites warm.
Notes
- If you do not have crescent rolls, you can use refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters.
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the dough with cooking spray before tossing in the butter.
- Adjust the cinnamon to sugar ratio to your preference.
